VDR. Contrast effects. List of opportunities and challenges.

VDR Contrast effects. With relatively little effort, it is possible to specify exactly what data is collected by which devices: for example, a network car collects data on its location, speed, acceleration and braking, number of passengers (using sensors in the seats). However, what can be obtained from combining and analyzing these data on car passengers is much less manageable, especially because new models and methods of analysis are constantly being developed.

Therefore, there can be only one right way to use big data or to resist the influence of use. Just as the spread of electricity has created countless products, big data, the Internet, sensors and processing power have laid the foundation for many new processes, applications and services. Therefore, there is no single solution for everyone. Big data can be the basis for socially desirable as well as unwanted uses in various places. Accordingly, in such a contribution as the present, only partial regions can always be distinguished.

This article looks at what is changing the way we use big data today and in the near future to serve as an example of our society, and tries to identify some approaches to how the state can best and responsibly handle it. With so many uncertainties associated with big data, one thing is clear: now we must make every effort to find specific models, measures and rules for many areas where the use of big data is changing our lives. Specific situations should be identified, and potential applications and regulation should be carefully considered. The “water masses” of new data and social problems are constantly breaking down over us – we urgently need a raft so as not to drown in the data stream.

Online dataroom. The list of features and challenges of using Big Data analytics is constantly being updated. The potential is huge: big data promises cost savings and revenue growth in many sectors of the economy. Trading can optimize many processes, from marketing to sales and customer service with the right data (keyword: product recommendations). The situation is similar for the industry, financial sector and services. For example, in the case of banks and insurance companies, data analysis is used to identify fraud attempts.

In production, processes and planning can be made more efficient. However, the benefits of big data analysis go far beyond efficiency gains. It also creates completely new capabilities and applications that were previously impossible without big data. In addition to business, there are also great opportunities in science, infrastructure planning, traffic management, translation and more. In addition, energy, healthcare, and education are some of the key areas where big data analytics brings huge benefits. In particular, public administration has great potential. More and more government agencies can also benefit from data-driven performance improvements like VDR.

And if big data can even lead to completely new applications, this, of course, will also be of great benefit to the administration.

The federal government supports the United States. Through the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, as part of various big data research projects, as well as in Berlin and Dresden, two centers of excellence for working with big data have been created (Berlin Big Data Center at the University of Berlin and the Competence Center for Scalable Data Services in the Technical University).

In addition, several government agencies are promoting a number of big data exploitation projects in the common interest: over the years, more and more efforts have been made to create an intelligent network based on the distribution of smart electricity meters. In addition, there are police databases and pilot projects in the field of forecasting police activities, 12 projects in the field of crisis management and forecasting extreme results.
